CITI has over the last 5 years created a strong and inspirational learning Eco-system that drives innovation and creativity. This is partly a testament to various learners who have been skilled from more than 5 countries across the African Continent in skills such as GIS, Engineering Design, Project Management, ICT, Urban planning to name a few
The Training Pathways are divided into two progressively more challenging Stages:
- Stage I: Foundation Training provides the background learning required for all new O&M (Operations & Maintenance) personnel, Draftsmen and Engineers. This includes an in depth introduction to Engineering drawing, Work place ethics, comprehensive training in Health, Safety and the Environment, and core skills training in Maths and Science fundamentals and key technical skills.
- Stage II: Functional/Advanced Training this starts with an in-depth technical introduction, and progressively more technically detailed and advanced training. It’s suitable for practicing professionals who are managing more complex and technically challenging projects. The learners are exposed to advanced modelling and simulations in a real world project environment.
