Participants will learn how to perform
economic resource evaluations from mineral exploration techniques,
quantification of discovered mineral resources to performing market analysis
for the discovered resources. They will learn how to collect and analyze
geological samples, record information, and look after the practical tasks
involved in servicing a remote mine field operation.
The main mining techniques will focus on
surface and underground mining. The participant will gain a general
understanding of the themes of stress and strain, constitutive behavior, rock
properties, stress in rock and rock masses, as well as rock mass properties.
Upon successful completion, you will be
prepared to pass the certification in order to work on a mine.
